The Total Energies Lubrifiants branch called on Némésis studio to modernize and unify its various existing lubrication plan development tools (Lubconsult) for customers.

Challenge
TotalEnergies Lubrifiants already had a tool that allowed it to provide its customers (mainly large construction companies) with lubrication plans (recommendation of lubricants to be used in a rationalization process). This tool, developed in the early 2000s, could no longer be maintained (obsolete technologies). Unable to make any changes, TotalEnergies Lubrifiants needed a new tool.
Goal 1
Replace the existing tool while maintaining its operation and reintegrating its data.

Create ergonomic and intuitive interfaces for internal and external users.

Make the new tool deployable internationally by making the data translatable.

Project framing
The first step of this project was to understand the expectations and needs of TotalEnergies Lubrifiants and to analyze the existing tools. Following this, we were able to define the technical and functional requirements for the new tools and define the technical architecture of the project.
Development
The development was divided into different successive sprints with the sources made available on different qualification and pre-production servers for testing. In addition to integrating old and new features, one of our tasks was to make the tool translatable for international use.
Reintegration of data from the old tool
We had to re-format all the old data to be able to integrate it into the new service and also make it translatable.
Validation and production launch
All functionalities have been tested and validated by our teams and those of TotalEnergies Lubrifiants before being put into production in order to guarantee quality services to the group's users.
Maintenance
Némésis studio provides corrective maintenance as well as evolutionary maintenance in order to develop functionalities and ensure the proper functioning of the tools in place. Since then, we have developed this tool to meet the new needs of TotalEnergies Lubrifiants.
